Avistr is a field service management platform built for Australian trade businesses. When we refer to "we", "us" or "Avistr" in this policy, we mean the operator of avistr.com.au. When we refer to "you", we mean the trade business owner using our platform.

2. What information we collect

We collect the following types of information:

• -Account information - your email address and password when you create an account.
• -Business information - your business name, ABN, logo, and bank details that you provide during onboarding or in settings.
• -Client data - names, email addresses, phone numbers and addresses of your clients that you enter into the platform.
• -Job and financial data - quotes, jobs, invoices and line items you create while using the platform.
• -Photos - images you upload to job records for documentation purposes.
• -Usage data - basic analytics about how you use the platform, including pages visited and actions taken.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• -Provide and operate the Avistr platform
• -Send transactional emails on your behalf to your clients (quotes, invoices)
• -Send you account-related notifications such as payment confirmations
• -Improve the platform based on how it is used
• -Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

4. Your clients' data

When you enter your clients' information into Avistr, you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to store and process that information. Your clients' data is stored securely and is only used to provide the services you request - for example, sending a quote or invoice email on your behalf. We do not contact your clients for any other purpose.

5. Third-party services

Avistr uses the following third-party services to operate the platform:

• -Supabase - database and file storage, hosted in Australia or the US depending on configuration.
• -Resend - transactional email delivery for sending quotes and invoices to your clients.
• -Vercel - platform hosting and analytics.

Each of these services has their own privacy policy. We share only the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

6. Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We use Supabase with row-level security, which means your data is only accessible to your account. No other Avistr user can access your business data, client records, or financial information.

7. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or tax compliance purposes.

8. Your rights

Under Australian Privacy law, you have the right to:

• -Access the personal information we hold about you
• -Request correction of inaccurate information
• -Request deletion of your data
• -Withdraw consent for us to process your data

9. Cookies

Avistr uses essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or by a notice within the platform. Continued use of Avistr after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
